Pineapple Strawberry Agua Fresca

Free of: gluten/wheat, dairy, corn, soy, eggs, refined sugar

Yields

3-4 8oz glasses

Ingredients

1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, stems removed

2 cups fresh or frozen pineapple, peeled and cut into pieces

4 cups water

3 Tbsp raw honey

juice of 1 lime

2 sprigs lavender (or basil or mint)

Directions

In a blender, add all ingredients, and blend until smooth. In large bowl, pour contents of blender through a mesh strainer, then pour contents of bowl into a glass. Or, if easier, use a soup ladle to transfer liquid from bowl into a glass. Enjoy!

  • Notes - save fiber / pulp for smoothies by putting in a container with lid in the refrigerator or freezer.
