Dragon Fruit and Hibiscus Smoothie

Free of: refined sugar, dairy, gluten / wheat, corn, soy, eggs

Yields

1 18oz smoothie cup

Ingredients

Hibiscus tea - Step 1: 

1 cup water

2 tsp of dried hibiscus flowers (I use Starwest Botanicals)

1/4 cup raw honey 

Smoothie - Step 2: 

1 3.5oz organic dragon fruit packet (I use Pitaya Plus)

1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries

1 banana

1 cup hibiscus tea (recipe above)

Water (as needed)

Directions

Hibiscus tea:

Boil 1 cup water in small pot, then remove from heat. 

Steep in dried hibiscus flowers for 10 mins. 

Strain liquid into a medium bowl, and whisk in 1/4 cup honey, then set liquid aside)- 

Smoothie:

Combine all smoothie ingredients in blender until smooth, and enjoy!
