2-4 servings
4 apples, any variety
2 Tbsp maple syrup
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 tsp cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Slice the apples in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Arrange the apple halves face up on a baking tray.
Drizzle each apple half with maple syrup, brushing over the face of the apple and leaving some inside the center. Divide the walnuts (or, pecans) evenly into the centers of the apples and sprinkle cinnamon over the top of each. Bake for 30-40 minutes, until the apples are tender and cooked through.
Serve warm from the oven and enjoy!
